Sue Scott

Executive Coach & Facilitator

Sue Scott.jpg

Sue is an executive coach and former Managing Director with over 25 years’ experience in global financial services.

At HSBC, she led complex, multi-year financial crime and risk transformation programmes across international markets, including global customer due diligence remediation, policy reform and large-scale training roll-outs.

She brings first-hand experience of operating under regulatory scrutiny, leading through reputational risk, and delivering change at pace.

Sue now partners primarily with Directors and Managing Directors, particularly within Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance and other control functions. She understands the commercial realities and influence challenges faced by senior functional leaders who must translate technical expertise into strategic business impact.

Her coaching is focused, commercially astute and outcome-oriented. Working in high-intensity executive formats, she helps leaders cut through complexity, strengthen executive presence, and move from reactive firefighting to deliberate, confident decision-making. She combines coaching rigour with relevant sector insight, offering stretch, challenge and practical application.

In addition to executive coaching, Sue designs and delivers engaging financial crime and ethics programmes (AML and Anti-Bribery & Corruption), repositioning compliance as a core leadership responsibility rather than a procedural obligation.

Sue holds a Diploma in Executive and Systemic Team Coaching (AOEC) and is an ICF Accredited Coach (ACC).
