At the time of writing this report, more than 70% of private firms in the UK have furloughed staff owing to the ongoing lockdown imposed by the government, as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic; this figure is set to increase even further.  The minimum furlough period is 3 weeks but as the lockdown continues, the psychological impact, and therefore the support needed to return to the workplace, will increase.

The return to work

assessment tool.

We use this tool when we are coaching returners, but it can be licenced to your organisation to use internally or to embed into your website.  Are there barriers (practical and psychological), which could be stopping your potential returner from feeling ready to return?  You can provide your potential returners with the opportunity to identify and work through them with our tool.  Often people feel totally overwhelmed by the prospect of returning to work, it can be difficult for the returner to get time to think and pinpoint exactly what’s holding them back from feeling ready.  Embedding our easy to use self assessment tool into your website supports self discovery and promotes taking action to make changes.
