Anne-marie Burbidge

Anne-Marie is an experienced learning and development leader, passionate about having a positive impact on individual, team and organisation performance.

 

As a trained coach, mediator and facilitator, with a focus on agile principles, productive ways of working and understanding what data can tell us, she takes an evidence-based approach to enabling high performance.  She’s worked in a broad range of industries including regulated (FCA/Ofgem/Ofcom), publicly funded/audited and start up/scale up tech.

Anne-Marie’s most recent employed role was as a Head of Learning and Development in the utilities industry. She led a team to transform the function from a training to a performance focus, creating a vision, road mapping delivery and focussing on a digital transformation.  Prior to this, amongst other roles, she was Learning and Development Manager at The Royal Household where she had responsibility for organisation wide policies and procedures across a wide range of disciplines and multiple sites. 

 

Anne-Marie is currently working on a variety of projects, from strategically shaping and driving People Strategy in start-up/scale up tech, designing & delivering team workshops in the public sector, to coaching experienced HR & L&D professionals one-to-one. 

 

She is passionate about leadership, coaching culture, performance enablement, career mapping, employee experience and onboarding. She coaches teams and individuals, and aspiring HR and L&D leaders.

 

She is a post graduate trained coach accredited in Core Strengths and Belbin team roles profiling tools, a Chartered Management Institute approved lecturer/internal assessor, is CIPD qualified and has featured on several podcasts and webinars talking about L&D, performance focus and product ways of working.
